Job Requirements/Description
Wrexham is an exciting place to be: a new city, a famous football team, its own TV show ‘Welcome to Wrexham’, and an amazing church at its heart: St Giles’ is Wales’s largest and grandest medieval parish church, home to a vibrant and growing congregation in the liberal catholic tradition.
St Giles’ is one of our new Hub Churches, modelling mission to the diocese, and is currently exploring Minster status with the Bishop.
We need a new Vicar and Mission Hub Leader who:
- can lead us in our ministry to the city and many visitors
- is a teacher of the faith, with a strong sense of God’s calling
- an experienced priest with a track record of Church growth
- will engage with other leaders, civic, military, educational, and charity
- enjoys working alongside others in a highly supportive environment
- is adaptable and not easily fazed.
