Interim Finance Manager (6-month contract) Near Liverpool UK - Full-time onsite

A leading £150M Engineering/FM organisation near Liverpool is seeking a qualified Interim Finance Manager for a 6-month contract starting in the next 2 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
  • Support the year-end/statutory reporting
  • Hands-on involvement in the 2025 budget process.
  • End to end month end close
  • Work closely with the finance team to implement process improvements and increase efficiency
  • Identify and implement systems improvements

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven hands-on finance experience
  • Experience working in the engineering, facilities management, or construction sectors
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
  • Happy to be onsite 5 days/week
  • Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
  • IR35 Status: Outside
