Control & Instrumentation Inspector - (Cheshire) long-term site-based contract
£38 per hour (outside IR35) + average 40-45hr working week + min 12mth contract (ongoing)
Control & Instrumentation Inspector responsibilities include:
- Site-based, testing, evaluating, & inspecting of products and instruments.
- Working on live, mega-scale construction site / project.
- Checking designs & test procedures.
- Analysing & interpreting data.
- Writing reports and documentation.
- Collaborating with the team on site & providing technical support.
- Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.
Control & Instrumentation Inspector profile;
- HNC / Degree or similar in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5yrs control and instrumentation Engineering & inspections experience.
- Experience working on large scale construction sites ideally in Oil & Gas, Renewables, Waste to Energy, Nuclear or similar.
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and fully conversant with 18th edition IEE Wiring Regulations; BS7671:2018
- Current UK driving license.
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
- Excellent customer service manner, with strong communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally to be living close to or within easy commute of the Cheshire / Flintshire area.
