Your new company
You will be working for a family run MSP. They are a UK leader in the provision of technology solutions for schools, offering computing curriculum, consultancy, technology training, in-class support, technical support, school phone systems and school website support.
They support over 500 schools, teach over 2000 teachers, 10000 pupils and work across 16 local authorities.
Your new role
As an IT Technican you will be responsible for providing technical support services to primary schools in the Liverpool and Wirral area. You will be working at 2 different primary schools each day. Duties will include:

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support to clients
• Manage the online helpdesk system for schools (freshdesk)
• Ensure all systems managed are up-to-date with antivirus software
• Manage the MSP onsite and off site back up solutions for the schools and monitor the daily backups
• Responsible for completing equipment build and installation
• Establish a good working knowledge of active directories, wireless infrastructure, educational software titles, windows deployment, hardware support, adding users, systems back up, managing antivirus software
• Managing printers
• Supporting Apple iPad

What you'll need to succeed
The person must illustrate.

• Technical / professional knowledge
• Great communication skills and being able to communicate in groups or individuals
• Be proactive - liaising with clients and the msp team
• Have an enhanced DBS (we can complete this)
• Must have a driving licence and own transport (mileage can be claimed)
