Well-being Officer – Full Time North Wales 

This role involves supporting key organisational functions in North Wales within VFCC wellbeing services. The successful candidate will hold a case load and deliver 1-1 wellbeing support sessions and group work activities. The post holder will use internal processes and measurement tools to evidence the impact and difference we make to care experienced children and young people. This includes implementing and driving initiatives that foster positive outcomes and ensures all our action contribute to meaningful improvements in the care and support provided to individuals. The successful individual will work closely with stakeholders, partners and the internal management team to ensure effectiveness of services and their sustainability.

Key Functions:

Deliver 1-1 and group work sessions

  • Stakeholder engagement North Wales.
  • Development of resources, enhancing our successful ladder of independence program and self-help biotherapy journal.
  • Gathering and reporting data sets, supported by internal CRM systems.
  • Producing regular monitoring and evaluation reports.
  • Assisting the Wellbeing manager in delivering the project objectives and outcomes.
  • Assist organisational planning and implementation of national events and conferences.

An essential Welsh speaker is required for this post

Requirements.

  • Willingness to work early evenings and some weekends.
  • Experience of working with children/ young people and understanding their development needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel independently across the whole of North Wales.

Interviews will take place on Tuesday 1st October 2024 via Microsoft Teams.
