New Directions is delighted to be collaborating with a highly regarded primary school in Liverpool, known for its commitment to excellence in education and student support. Following a recent Ofsted inspection that awarded the school a "Good" rating with "Outstanding" features, this school is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their dedicated team.

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting both teachers and students, helping to maintain the school's high standards of teaching and learning. You will assist in delivering tailored educational support, lead small group sessions, and occasionally cover lessons as required. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:

• Have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Be encouraging and supportive.
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.

Job Specification

• Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs
• Hold a L2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Able to support children of all abilities.
• Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning.
