Ships Cooks & Chief Cooks

Due to continued expansion and internal promotions Matrix are looking for keen and enthusiastic Cooks and Chief Cooks to work on our managed RORO passenger ferries in the Irish Sea and on the channel

We currently offer a competitive salary, paid travel and travel days, full pay whilst on courses, a day rate so extra days are paid and good promotion prospects. Current contracts are between 4-6 weeks or 2 on 2 off on the channel. There is a seniority scheme and plenty of opportunity for promotion.

Essential Certification:

• STCW Elementary First Aid
• STCW Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting
• STCW Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
• STCW Personal Survival Techniques
• STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
• STCW Cooks Certs
