Teacher of Biology

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our Southport secondary schools who are looking for a Part Time Teacher of Biology to start after February half term. The role is to deliver Biology to all Key Stages, 3-5. The position is a maternity cover so is expected to be for 9-12 months.

Excellent subject knowledge is essential.

The position will pay up to 251.71 per day, depending on experience.

• Teacher of Biology to KS3, KS4 and KS5
• 24th February 2025 start
• Maternity cover, 9-12-month role
• Part Time - 4 days a week but job share considered
• Excellent subject knowledge required.

The essentials:

• QTS
• Experience teaching Biology to KS3, KS4 and KS5
• Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
• Full and complete 10-year career history
• Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Legal right to work in the UK
