Multiskilled Maintenance Technician Days

Your new companyYour new company is a large, national company that is a market leader in the sustainable recycling and renewable energy sector. Due to continued growth and site expansion, they are looking to add another head to their maintenance team, on a days based shift pattern.

Your new roleYour new role is a days based maintenance technician, working Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.Some details of the role requirements:- Perform all duties to high Health and Safety standards- Ensure that all machinery and services are routinely maintained in line with operational requirements - Provide both Mechanical and Electrical support across the site- Quickly respond to machine and system failures to reduce downtime- Communicate maintenance progress updates to colleagues

What you'll need to succeed- An engineering qualification, ideally apprentice trained with an HNC/NVQ or similar- Maintenance experience, ideally within the chemical, renewable energy, FMCG or oil and gas industries- Experience with ATEX equipment and working in hazardous plants- A good understanding of maintenance processes and activities- Knowledge of maintenance management systems
