Job Summary
The Recpool Group is currently working with a rapidly expanding payroll sector specialist to offer an exciting opportunity for the recruitment of an Office Manager to oversee and grow their newly opened office in Liverpool City center.

The ideal candidate for this amazing opportunity would be someone whom either comes from within the Umbrella Payroll sector as a team or divisional manager, with a strong working knowledge of UK payroll processes OR someone who has directly managed the full responsibilities for a busy payroll division and can display transferrable recent employment skills/experiences in overseeing an office of industry professionals to maintain and drive the brand, reputation and commitment to excellence.

Duties of the Office Manager role will be (but not limited to):

  • Manage and oversee all office services and operations.
  • Ensure office efficiency by implementing appropriate staffing procedures.
  • Manage and develop the office team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Work closely with all teams to ensure that processes are secure, robust, compliant and work effectively to mitigate risk to the business.
  • Ensure all procedural checks have been carried out satisfactorily, both prior and following payroll calculation run ensuring any errors are rectified and necessary corrections made prior to payments.
  • Maintain office records, policies, operating procedures and management systems.
  • Communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams professionally.
  • Develop current relationships with clients, recruitment agencies and service providers.
  • Organise office initiatives.
  • Manage office budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Credit control
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the office.

Employment skills/experience
The successful candidate should have:

Proven recent employment experience in team management and supervising staff members.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and employees.

Strong current track record and knowledge of UK payroll processes, compliance and systems.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Excellent attention to detail.

Experience in liaising with 3rd parties.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.

The ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Exceptional written communications skills.

Exceptional phone etiquette
