Sustainability Manager

Sustainability Manager | Liverpool | £55,000 | Chemical industry experience.

Here at Gilbert Meher, we are working with a growing chemical manufacturer who is now on the search for a motivated sustainability manager to join their team. The responsibilities of the position include having extensive knowledge in executing sustainability and impact strategies across the company.

You will be working alongside the sustainability committee and operational sites, suppliers, and customers. You will need to have strong planning and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sustainability suite and oversaw departmental activities.
• Oversee data management and reporting for non-financial metrics
• Conduct and report on quarterly sustainability meetings
• Coordinate and manage voluntary sustainability initiatives
• Develop strategies for compliance with upcoming EU sustainability regulations and oversee energy procurement decisions.
