CNC Turner - Programmer/Setter/Operator

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner programmer setter operator to work for a well known engineering company in Liverpool.

The role:

• You will be responsible for working from precision drawings
• Creating programs and selecting tooling
• Proving and finish machining many forms up to 3.2 m in length
• Working with steel, stainless steel and alloy steel
• Using the latest CNC Lathes equipped with live tooling and programming steadies
• Using C & Y Axis machining

Requirements:

• Must be time-served (NVQ 3 or equivalent)
• Must be able to fully program, set, and operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc Controls
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Understand ISO 9001:2015
• Previous experience with machining of exotic metals (super duplex, duplex, 718 x750, Hastelloy, monel
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Doosan Lathes (8" to 30" chuck sizes) 1-32m lengths
• Manual guide programming

Hours of work:

Mon - Thurs 07.30-16.30 Fri 07.30 - 12.00

Salary 36,000 - 37,000 with OTE 45,000 - 48,000 per annum
