Working on behalf of our client based in Wrexham. We are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly in to the Process Engineering Manager this role will be responsible for applying engineering solutions in order to support and improve all aspects of the manufacturing process.
Key Duties:
- You will be engaged in a variety of projects, including process optimisation, process commissioning, materials usage, and the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
- Additionally, you will support tasks necessary to achieve these objectives, such as maintaining data systems and producing process instructions.
- Actively apply continuous improvement and proactive methodologies to ensure that optimum quality, product, and machine efficiencies are achieved with minimal waste.
- Conduct root cause analysis, identify and resolve issues throughout production.
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Qualified to HND / HNC, in an appropriate Engineering discipline or above.
- Hold previous experience within a manufacturing or similar environment ideally although a graduate will also be considered.
- Possess sound theoretical engineering knowledge.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills, tenacity and creative thinking.
