History Teacher

Role: History Teacher

Location: Liverpool

Qualiteach is looking to recruit a skilled teacher of history for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Liverpool area. The role will involve teaching history at KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is a requirement.

The position is due to begin on 06/01/2025 and is offered on a full-time, ongoing basis until the end of the academic year.

The academy is a popular choice for families in the area and has a new state of the art build with modern equipment throughout. The academy is offering a generous rate of pay, ongoing CPD and free on-site parking.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to teach history up to KS4
• A passion for history with the ability to relate this passion to secondary age pupils
• Engaging approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good behaviour management strategies
• Right to work in the UK
• PGCE with QTS or equivalent
• Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
