Project Manager - Investment Bank
A highly respected investment bank requires a Project Manager to work within The Global Markets Operations Technology team.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Project Manager with a strong background in payments to lead and manage our technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget, while ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business analysts, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the payments sector.
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the technology sector, with a focus on payments (2+ years experience in payments).
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, gateways, and related technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- PMP or similar project management certification (e.g. Prince2)
