Our client specialises in a range of civil litigation matters and are currently expanding their growing HDR department.
We are seeking an ambitious qualified solicitor or FILEX, ideally with at least 1 years PQE. Experience of housing disrepair is preferred but not essential.
Main duties and responsibilities:- Running a caseload of pre- and post-litigation Section 11 claims on behalf of tenants
- Comply with Pre Action-Protocol for Housing Disrepair Claims
- Draft Letters of Claim
- Collation of special damages
- Negotiation and settlement
- Liaise with counsel
- Issue Court Proceedings
- Manage all steps to trial
- Conduct enforcement proceedings
- Assist in the business development and growth of the department
