SHEQ Manager – Liverpool – FTC
We are looking for a SHEQ Manager with construction experience to work for a business delivering a number of major projects linked to critical national infrastructure.
Experience
- NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
- Knowledge and experience of CDM Regulations
- Background as a Safety Manager in a construction environment (Utilities experience desirable)
- Demonstrated high standards of safety behaviour, leading by example and promoting a positive safety culture
- Able to manage potential conflict during site inspections with operational teams
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
Duties
- Conduct site inspections to monitor direct employees and sub-contractors
- Provide expert advice on e.g. risk assessments, risk management, fire safety, CDM regulations, hazardous substances, noise and machinery
- Be the point of contact for external bodies including the Health and Safety Executive, Clients and other stakeholders as directed by the SHEQ Manager
- Support incident management & investigation process
- Delivery of training to operatives and new starters
Location - Liverpool - Regionwide travel
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £55,000
