Authorised Electrical Fitter (North Wales/Liverpool/Manchester)
Digital Waffle is seeking highly motivated and experienced Authorised Electrical Fitters to join our team for a long-term project on the Scottish Power network in the North Wales/Liverpool/Manchester region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical infrastructure project and work with a forward-thinking company.
What you'll be doing:
- As an Authorised Electrical Fitter, you'll play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment on the Scottish Power network.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, testing, and commissioning new electrical equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance on existing infrastructure
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults
- Working with a variety of electrical systems, including LV distribution boards, transformers, and panels
- Following strict safety protocols and procedures (Competent Person certified)
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all work performed
- You'll be working as part of a team of skilled electricians, collaborating to ensure efficient project completion.
- The role may involve travel throughout the North Wales/Liverpool/Manchester region.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds the following certifications:
- Competent Person
- APSD (LV R3 - Ground Mounted Plant)
- APSA (DV)
- APSD (DV)
- AWP-06 (LV Distribution Board Live Work)
- AWP-08 (Transformer LV Bars and ACB Work)
- AWP-09 (Electrotechnical Work in Panels)
- Has a minimum of [X years] experience as an Authorised Electrical Fitter.
- Demonstrates strong electrical knowledge and practical skills.
- Is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has a strong work ethic, is reliable, and takes pride in their work.
- Possesses a valid driving license (ideally with experience driving vans).
