We are pleased to present this unique opportunity to join a leading Top 100 law firm, based in Liverpool.

The Role

This is a superb opportunity to join a leading Top 100 UK law firm specialising in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm it is now seeking to appoint a Paralegal to work alongside its existing Personal Injury team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on the MOJ Portal, but is looking for a genuine opportunity to progress within a leading law firm. In total, the firm offered 28 training last year, its a great opportunity to progress to becoming a qualified solicitor. Candidates with pre-litigation experience are also desirable or those with litigation experience, looking to take a step back.

You will be working individually with a high attention to detail but also as part of the team. You will be dealing with admitted liability cases in the hope to settle quantum.

Responsibilities to include:

• Running a caseload of MOJ claims from inception to completion
• Stages 1,2,3 of MOJ Portal
• Managing a caseload up to a value of £25,000
• Issuing proceedings
• Reviewing Medical Evidence
• Reviewing Claimant’s Losses and Vehicle Related Losses including Credit Hire
• Submitting stage 2 settlement packs via the MOJ portal
• Negotiating settlement with third party insurers
