We are proud to have partnered with a unique and growing bank based in Chester, who specialise in financial products to support the rural economy. This bank are seeking a financial services professional with experience in transaction monitoring and payments screening.
Responsibilities:
Transaction Monitoring:
- Responsible for finding and investigating unusual transactions, patterns and activity to screen for potential money laundering/terrorist financing
- Keep detailed records of all investigations and findings, and report as required
- Ensure regulatory procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Confident in multi-tasking – able to juggle tasks effectively
- Strong relationship builder – you can communicate and build relationships with stakeholders of all levels
- Proficient in IT – you’re able to pick up new systems quickly and use a variety of systems.
- Exposure to SARs, Transaction Monitoring, Payments Screening and Cifas
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience of transaction monitoring (desirable)
- Knowledge of regulatory policies within financial services (desirable)
Salary & Benefits:
- £26,000 - £30,000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave (increases after 2 years of service)
