1st / 2nd Line IT Engineer

Role: 1st / 2nd Line IT Engineer

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 DOE

Our client, a successful family run business (since the 1980’s!) are growing their team and looking for an enthusiastic 1st/2nd Line IT Engineer to help support their internal user base and assist with current and future IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd Line IT Support to an internal user base of 200+
• Log, triage and resolve incoming tickets
• Build, maintain and install hardware across the office
• Software support including installation
• Manage user accounts, giving access and permissions where necessary
• Ensuring efficient running’s of all IT equipment
• Asset management, ensuring it is kept up-to-date

Technical Skillset:

• Active Directory / Group Policies
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Cloud platforms (Azure Entra ID)
• Office applications including SharePoint, PowerShell, Intune
• Exchange
• Knowledge with virtual servers is desired but not essential
