Senior Surveyor to join our growing Building Consultancy team. In this role, you will deliver a mix of professional and project-based services, working with a range of clients, including private investors, institutions, and corporate organisations. Key Responsibilities:Project-Based Work: - Conduct building surveys for investment and occupational purposes.
- Manage contract administration, including preparing specifications, schedules of work, and standard contract forms.
- Lead project management for new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.
- Monitor developments on behalf of investors and institutions, ensuring quality and compliance.
Professional Services: - Prepare and negotiate Schedules of Dilapidations for landlords and tenants.
- Conduct defect analysis and recommend solutions.
- Provide Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and general maintenance advice.
- Act as a Party Wall specialist, offering guidance and resolution where required.
Client & Team Collaboration: - Manage client and project teams to deliver services profitably and on time.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing expertise and insights to achieve project objectives.
What We re Looking For:Qualifications & Experience: - MRICS-qualified with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in commercial surveying.
- Strong understanding of professional and project-based building surveying disciplines.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality work across a range of projects.
Skills & Attributes: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong business acumen and a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ideally MS Project; CAD drafting skills are a plus.
