Academics is currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher to work within our client secondary schools in Wirral and the surrounding areas on a supply basis. This can be as flexible as you need or want it to be!

As a Cover Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience during their teachers absences.

Main Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher responsibilities:

• Supervising secondary school students in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a productive learning environment
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere
• Adhering to school policies and procedures
• Making sure the students stay on task

What you will need to work as a Classroom Supervisor/ Unqualified Teacher with Academics:

• Previous experience supporting children and/or young adults is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and adaptable to different school environments
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered to the update service, or be willing to get one.
• To be based in Wirral or surrounding areas.
