Hays Education Wirral is working with a one form entry primary based in Moreton to fill a Year 3 class teaching job.

This class teaching job will start in October 2024 and run for the remainder of the academic year covering maternity leave of the current post holder. The job is full time, Monday - Friday during term time.

Your new role
As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for supporting your class as they settle into KS2. You will plan and deliver challenging but age-appropriate lessons for mixed-ability children. You will regularly meet with the head of KS2 to work on marking and assessment and work within the wider KS2 team.

What you'll need to succeed
For this Year 3 class teaching job you will need:

• QTS or equivalent qualification
• Experience of working or training in a primary school within the last 3 years that we can reference
• Ability to support children with their transition into Key Stage 2
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• A willingness to work within the wider school community
