Sewing Machine Operative / Netting Technician

We have an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new team at Net World Sports as we look to diversify into new product ranges and continue to offer industry-leading sports equipment to our valued customers. Based in our brand-new state-of-the-art headquarters, this role will be an opportunity to come in and put your own stamp on the company as we move towards the manufacture of custom netting and related products. You’ll be joining a supportive and fast-paced working environment where you can demonstrate and develop your skills and build a future career with us.

What you'll do

• Operate a range of machinery (Overlocking, Twin Needle, Sewing Machines) to create custom sized netting for our customers
• Process orders, collect stock and then use your technical skills to accurately cut the netting to size and stitch together to a high standard
• Operate additional machinery such as the Eyelet Machine to finish off the products
• Re-package the product ready for delivery, maintaining close communication with teams across the company to ensure customer satisfaction and deadlines are met
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the company (Sales, Products and Warehouse) to monitor stock levels and product quality, offering feedback and suggestions to improve our products and services
• Assist with any ad hoc responsibilities that may arise within your department

What you'll bring

• Previous experience using Sewing Machines and similar machinery
• “Can do” attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills – we will provide full training on working with netting
• High attention to detail and a desire to provide the best possible service
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Good levels of computer skills
• Good communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments across the business
