Job Details
We're currently seeking a School Caterer to join our established team for a local (PRIMARY OR SECONDARY) school, (MONDAY TO FRIDAY, 9AM TILL 2PM). As a School Caterer, you'll play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to students, ensuring they have the energy and focus they need to learn and thrive.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook hot and cold meals according to school menus and dietary requirements
Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times
Order ingredients and supplies as needed
Work effectively with the school's administration team to manage meal orders and student needs
Assist with catering events and special occasions as required
Requirements
Must Have An Enhanced DBS Certificate
Cooking experience in a school or similar environment
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
A proactive and positive attitude towards work
