Sr. Software Developer (C#) – Public Sector (Liverpool City Centre) – Basic Salary of £50,000 -£60,000 plus an exceptional benefits package


Hays Technology have an unrivalled presence across the UK Public Sector. We’re thrilled to be assisting a renowned Public Sector body in Liverpool City Centre, in their recruitment of an experienced software developer, to join one of their centralised teams on a permanent basis.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to undertake a senior role within a leading public sector technology team, while being actively involved in exciting projects with bleeding edge transformational technologies.


The role

The successful applicant will be in charge of delivering essential software applications and services across a specific internal business unit. They will collaborate closely with the wider software development teams, undertaking various projects with the aim of developing and supporting our custom-made services.

As a senior member of the team, you will manage a team of two junior developers.


Skill set requirements:

Strong, hands-on software engineering skill set – specifically C# & ASP.NET

Experience in managing a small team of junior developers.


What you'll get in return:

A basic salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 p/year (as per set bandings), dependent on relevant experience

35 days paid holiday + Bank Holidays

Christmas Shut down (2 weeks additional holiday)
