Project/Programme Manager - Data Governance - Hybrid/Liverpool

An exciting opportunity for a Project/Programme Manager to join a technology-driven Asset Management organization and help them establish effective data governance and control framework in order to improve company's data security and data management practices.

The scope of the role would give an excellent exposure to various part of the business, working closely with the Group Transformation function, leading, and managing key stakeholders and promoting consistent high performance and excellent ways of working in order to deliver successfully and on time in conjunction with the end goal of the organization.

Successful candidate will come with a programme level change management experience, ideally within financial services but open to other industries as well, previously delivered projects across data governance and management, with proven track record of leadership and organizational skills.

This role offers a 12-month fixed-term contract with potential to be extended for another 6-12 months, with 2 days working in the Liverpool office.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage programme of workstreams in order to successfully implement the data management and governance policy across the organization
  • Ensure all related workstreams and solutions are well communicated across the business, work closely with stakeholders to support the control framework requirements
  • Manage interim governance, identify, and control all related risks, providing director for mitigation and their prevention
  • Apply strict change control, with focus on issues being resolved in a timely manner and suggest ways of improving and avoiding any future once
  • Initiate AQ reviews to ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Project/Programme Manager
  • Excellent experience in data governance and management, ideally delivering technical solutions
  • Experience with SharePoint/Power BI/Power Automate etc.
  • Proven leadership background, with ability to influence high-level stakeholders and delivering strategic projects/programmes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a solution-driven approach to work
