Salary : £42,000- £47,000 + £4500 car allowance

Requirements:
- Experienced SHEQ Advisor
- Strong Mechanical or Scaffolding background preferred
- Experience working in the power industry
- Experienced and comfortable travelling to multiple sites in the north west
- Minimum NEBOSH certificate
- Member of IOSH or similar OHS certified body.
- Experience in the petro-chemical industry or similar
Duties:
- Onboard new employees during recruitment stage delivering company induction & D&A screening.
- To ensure daily operations are compliant
- Support, advise & monitor site working practices.
- Support the development of RAMS in the planning stages of the scope through to execution.
- To provide functional support to the Site Management and Operational Team advising on HSEQ standards on sites.
- Collaborate with onsite HSEQ team, Operations Team, assessing and responding to site requirements.
- Be visible onsite and engaging with employees developing a sound safety culture.
- Support & review risk assessments and method statements ensuring they are established & effective.
- Identify training needs and deliver bespoke packages.
- Record actions from HSE management system audits, inspections and safety tours and monitor progress of implementation.
- Advise and assist in unwanted event investigation alongside the operational team as required.
