As a First Line Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse floor, ensuring efficient and safe processes are followed to meet production targets and customer demands. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of colleagues to operational success in ecommerce, pick and pack, pallets in/out operations. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Set daily and weekly KPIs and ensure that these are always being met with the aim of exceeding. Liaise with the customer over queries and complete on time Maximise productivity and improve quality in order to grow your team. Contribute to warehouse layout and workflow to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve any logistical issues. Maintain records of inventory, orders, and shipments, utilising warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Daily reporting to Senior Management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and build and streamline processes. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment. Lead HR requirements in relation to investigation, disciplinary, grievance and absence management Lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence among warehouse staff. Requirements Skills/Experience/Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse operations, within a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software for inventory management and tracking. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting. Successful candidate(s) will be required to undergo a basic Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) Check.
