About the role:
As the MD of Asset Management, you will assume a pivotal leadership role with P&L accountability and operational oversight. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Strategic Leadership: Shape and implement the vision and strategy for the Asset Management division ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
- Business Expansion: Drive revenue growth and profitability through targeted business development initiatives, particularly within the industrial and utility markets.
- Operational Excellence: Lead a high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional standards and driving continuous improvement to surpass customer expectations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, investors and industry bodies.
- Reporting to the CEO: You will operate with a high level of autonomy, directly contributing to the strategic direction of the company at an executive level.
What we’ll need from you:
- Executive Leadership: Senior-level experience within the industrial or utilities sectors (ideally in asset management) with a proven track record of driving growth and operational improvements.
- Commercial Expertise: Strong commercial acumen including experience in a PE-backed environment with an ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
- Strategic Vision: A forward-thinking leader capable of developing and executing strategies to achieve long-term success while cultivating strong client relationships.
