An 'outstanding' Primary School in the Wirral, Wallasey are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a young male with challenging behaviour. This is a full time & long-term post for the whole of the academic year.

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Your Role:

Working across Nursery & Reception classes
Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Sessions
Assisting with general classroom duties
Supporting mild SEN when needed
Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions
Working 1:1 with mild SEN

Early Years Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:

Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare (desirable)
Hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education (desirable)
Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
Have school based experienced ideally or have experience within private nurseries
Have an enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
Work well as a team
Good communication
