Can you demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the food industry?

MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Food business on the search for a National Account Manager This is a perm, hybrid role, based in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aimed at growing revenue, market share, and profitability within each account.
• Lead regular meetings and presentations with clients to discuss product offerings, promotional plans, and business performance.
• Track progress towards account targets and implement strategies to meet or exceed them.
• Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges within accounts.

What are we looking for?

• 4-5 years’ experience managing key national accounts in the food industry, ideally within retail or foodservice sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of the food sector, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and develop pricing strategies that meet both client and company objectives.
• Creativity in developing innovative sales strategies and approaches.

Proficiency in analyzing market data, customer insights, and sales performance to identify opportunities and guide business decisions.

Salary – up to £55k doe
