Job Title: Export/Freight Manager (Sea/Ocean)Location: LiverpoolSalary: £45 - £49K (DOE) + Car AllowanceCore Hours: Mon - Fri 09:00-17:30hrsContract: PermanentCompany & RoleOperating in 145 countries internationally, with a combined total of 14,000 employee's, our client is a global leading Logistics business, specialising in the safe and timely delivery of sea freight across the globe.We are currently recruiting for an experienced Export/Freight Manager (Sea/Ocean), to be 100% office based, at our client's premises in Liverpool, Merseyside.As the Export/Freight Manager, your duties will include:

• Lead the Export Operations team to continue to provide exceptional solutions and services to clients and internal customers.
• Train and develop the teams to attain Operational Excellence across all service provisions.
• Support the customer experience team in delivering information, visibility and support to the customers.
• Assist in defining budgets and managing the P&L for the branch.
• Drive Continuous Improvement Programs to develop and provide new and improved services and products.
• Serve as an escalation point for customer and team issues, ensuring swift resolution.
• Collaborate with branch and country management to set strategic goals and financial targets.
• Cultivate a KPI-focused, results-driven team culture centred on communication, innovation, and accuracy.

The successful Export/Freight Manager will have the following skills & experience;

• Must have a proven working history of Ocean Freight experience.
• Proven track record in Operations Management.
• Experience in People Management.
• Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Enthusiastic and flexible approach, with the ability for motivating teams
