Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established company based within the Llanidloes area.

This is a full-time position with a yearly salary of £33,000 and £37,000 dependant on experience.

The working hours are as follows:

• Monday Friday : 08 30

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for projects from assembly through to installation.
• Assist with equipment assembly as needed.
• Minor fabrication work.
• Ensure site Health and Safety compliance, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all on-site activities.
• Interpret layout drawings based on installation needs.
• Will require occasional travel away from home.

What qualifications and skills do you need:

• Mechanical knowledge and experience
• Familiarity with conveyors and ABB robotic systems is preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in reactive and small project maintenance.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a proactive mindset.
• Basic IT proficiency.
• Excellent time management and planning abilities.
• Capable of providing clear and concise information in reports.
