Marketing Communications Executive

We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Communications Executive to join our busy Marketing Communications team. If you have strong copy editing and writing skills, the ability to streamline and prioritise information, a can-do attitude and great attention to detail, then this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with Acorn Insurance.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will create and update compelling and engaging customer communications across our portfolio of brands. Working as part of a team, your role will centre around copywriting letters, emails, and SMS messages for new and existing customers in an environment where experience in a regulated organisation such as insurance, banking etc. would be highly advantageous.

Role: Marketing Communications Executive

Location: Liverpool City Centre on a Hybrid basis

Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm

Salary: up to £32,000 DOE

What you will be doing:

• You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our customer communications strategy.
• Copy edit and write impactful and engaging communications for new and existing customers
• Ensure communications remain compliant managing the annual communications plan
• Work closely with key stakeholders to manage the end-to-end approval process ensuring compliance with brand and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure communications accuracy and gain approval
• Updating communications as and when required to ensure they are kept up to date
• Measure the effectiveness of communications and identify improvements.
• Conduct communications A/B split tests to optimise content
• Using Microsoft Office Suite, Mailchimp and Canva to design and create customer communications

What we are looking for:

• A background in a regulated environment is essential.
• A knowledge of FCA regulations is desirable
• A minimum of 2 years of copywriting experience
• Good knowledge of managing customer communications, including letters, emails, and SMS
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Able to manage complex workloads and meet numerous deadlines
• Excellent people skills, able to collaborate with a wide range of people to meet deadlines
• An eye for detail, able to use data to identify opportunities
