Job Requirements/Description

My client are a well-established Main Contractor who have several divisions including Build, Refurbishment and Maintenance, working across Industrial, Commercial and Retail sectors. They are a well estabished, financially stable business who have been trading for over 100 years.

As a result of growth and having many live sites, they are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Initially, you would be working on a internal and external refurbishments to industrial units and office space across the North West (projects in Manchester and Liverpool). Works would include - rip outs of warehouse/industrial units, installation of mezzanine floors, creation of office spaces within the units, refurbishment of toilet facilities etc.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors etc, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
  • Monitoring health and safety on site
  • Attending progress meetings, client meetings
  • Quality control & progression
  • Managing Health & Safety
  • Site Inductions

The successful candidate must have previous experience managing and delivering fit out/refurbishment projects, and will ideally have a joinery background.

You will also need the following tickets:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aid
  • Fire Marshal

In return for your skills, the company will offer a salary of 38k+ company van, pension, private healthcare (once the probationary period is complete). You will also gain secure employment with a stable and caring employer.
