QHSE Manager

Location: Merseyside
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000 per annum

I am currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager on behalf of a well-established client that operates across the aerospace and automotive sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company during a period of significant growth and change.

My client is seeking a proactive and hands-on QHSE Manager who will be instrumental in driving quality, health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the organization. You will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining ISO9001:2015, with the objective of achieving ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications in the near future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage ISO9001:2015, ensuring audit success and smooth daily operations.
• Lead the implementation of ISO14001 and ISO45001, taking full ownership of these systems.
• Cultivate a quality-first culture within the business, utilizing core quality methodologies such as 5Y, 8D, and FMEA.
• Manage and monitor KPIs, particularly focusing on Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and Cost of Quality (COQ).
• Engage with customers and suppliers to maintain and enhance quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
• Strong background in core quality skills, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Experience working within a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to take ownership of projects and drive continuous improvement across the business.
