Demand Analyst

This role focuses on analysing demand trends and providing strategic insights for a leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business. The Demand Analyst will be instrumental in the Procurement & Supply Chain department, ensuring optimum inventory levels and minimising stock shortages. Working alongside a well established team, you'll have the opportunity to develop professionally.

Description

• Analysing demand trends and providing accurate forecasts
• Collaborating closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain team to maintain optimum inventory levels
• Identifying potential stock shortages and devising mitigation strategies
• Providing insights to shape procurement strategies based on demand analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage new product launches
• Maintaining and improving demand forecast accuracy
• Participating in monthly S&OP meetings
• Utilising data analytics tools to improve demand planning processes

Profile

A successful 'Demand Analyst' should have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (able to do Vlookups/Pivot tables!)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain - if you've worked within a Manufacturing business this would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Eager to learn and develop skills within a team environment
