Systems Developer (SMART Partnership Associate)

Wrexham University is looking for a graduate in software development with recent industry experience in C/C++ to fulfil a SMART Partnership Associate Role. The role will review an existing bespoke cloud-based software system currently in use within the business and enable the company to embed new knowledge and capability to further develop the system, maintain it and use it effectively in the future.

This role will project manage the delivery of the technical and knowledge transfer objectives set as part of the project. The successful candidate will work with and utilise the expertise with the Faculty of Arts Computing and Engineering within Wrexham University to embed knowledge into the company for future delivery capability and development. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable. There will be training available to support the post-holder.

The role holder will be based in Deeside, in addition to visiting the university on an ad hoc basis when required.

This appointment is made as a result of the approval of a Welsh Government funded SMART Partnership with ACE Lifts Ltd.
