Facilities Project Engineer

The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive company in Bedfordshire who boast a range of facilities and are seeking a Facilities Project Engineer to join there Facilities and Maintenance function on a permanent basis.

The companies’ employees are passionate about customer service and technical excellence and take pride ensuring customers’ requirements are met.

As a member of the facilities department, the team manage physical assets at the business locations around the world which includes providing new buildings, test tracks and equipment to support the business growth.

The day-to-day duties include:

• Work with the facilities team on new buildings, upgrading facilities and major maintenance projects
• Manage CAPEX budgets including value engineering to ensure innovation and efficiency
• Coordinate and supervise construction works onsite
• Manage subcontractors and subject matter experts

What we are looking for

• An interest in progressing your career within facilities management within a reputable company
• Facilities work experience with infrastructure such as electrical systems, plant and building services
• Knowledge of construction trades
• Project management skills
