Job Title: NDT Inspector – Composite and Metallic Materials

Location: Broughton (Onsite Requirement)

Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to join our clients' dedicated team in Broughton. This role involves performing Nondestructive Testing (NDT) on aircraft materials (composite and metallic), components, and structures, adhering to engineering specifications. You will work with a high level of autonomy and report to the NDT Group Leader for both functional and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct NDT examinations on aircraft materials, components, and structures across all business areas.
• Maintain compliance with in-house technical requirements, including documentation control, training, Operational Surveillance, and NDT report management.
• Provide line-side and Andon support to operations, as well as PPS and audit support.
• Contribute to concession reduction projects and perform checks on in-house NDT instrumentation.
• Ensure personal certifications are maintained according to applicable NDT standards and business needs.

Essential Skills:

• MUST HAVE: EN4179 (or equivalent) Level 2 qualification in Eddy Current.
• Proficiency in NDT methods for both composite and metallic materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and flexibility to meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP systems and processes.
