BASC - the British Association for Shooting and Conservation is a membership organisation and a national representative body for sporting shooting.

The organisation was founded as the Wildfowlers’ Association of Great Britain and Ireland (WAGBI) in 1908 by Stanley Duncan FZS and Sir Ralph Payne-Gallwey Bt.

Our mission is to promote and protect sporting shooting and the well-being of the countryside throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to provide an effective facilities management and health and safety service to the association.
  • The role provides effective maintenance and security of the association’s office premises, vehicle fleet and equipment; and in addition, leads the health and safety support of the association.
